† "BORN BUT WHAT 4?"†
My name is Letitia (Latisha) I'm from Oakland California I have one child she’s 10. I attend Acts Full Gospel church of God in Christ and I love my Acts family. Waz up Act’s :) I am very sincere in my faith and I'm striving to become more like Jesus. I would consider myself to be a kind, sincere, funny, and laid back person. I am able to get along with all types of people. When I meet people they seem very comfortable with me and end up telling me their life stories. I am a very real and straightforward person however HUMBLE to God's word and voice in my life always looking to HIM for my direction and HE is my SOURCE.
I love the lord with all my heart, mind, body and soul I've been through alot from the time of my birth it seemed I was cursed. See my mother worked for the main Post Office in Oakland, CA for many years, she had her own home but unfortunately was married to a man who physically abused her. From this union she had her first 2 girls (my older sisters whom I have met one time. But I look forward to finding them and reuniting with them someday soon) they were raised by my mothers, mother, who ended up dieing in a fire. Soon after, they were raised by their father side of the family.
Okay so after my mother left her husband, she meet my father and from that relationship I was born. Soon after the conception, my mother, at the age 33, became mentally ill and my father had to end the relationship. I think her pregnant condition combined with her past abuse may have caught up with her. Whatever present life problems she was under, Contributed to her having a nervous breakdown (from which she never quite recovered). When my father left it was just my mother and I. She did the best she could, considering her condition. But unfortunately she lost our apartment and we lived in her car for months. Because of our living conditions, we lacked proper hygiene and I caught a sever case of lice. The police came to Kragens auto parts parking lot on Fruitvale Ave in Oakland, CA, where we had been living in our car and I was taken to Highland Hospital. My father was contacted at work and soon after, at age 22, took custody of me I was ten months old. He lost many job for he lack of family support. Along the way he met another woman, she was nineteen and she became my “Mother” They dated for about 5-6 years and fought often, they broke up many times but always seemed to get back together. Eventually the relationship came to a end they had 2 kids together.
After my dad and stepmother fought, she would always leave with my brother and sister forcing me to stay alone with my father. I would cry all night long. I always, felt abandoned, unloved, neglected and often acted out my anger at school. My father would drop me off with other people for long periods of time as if not quite knowing how to deal with me; many took care of me, for only the money when that ran out, THEY ran out!
And back to my father I’ll go. My father not knowing how to deal with me, mistreated me with harsh whippings, that turned into beatings. Until my stepmothers, mother called C.P.S. on my behalf. I was then removed from his home and placed in foster care at the age of five.
†"SOMEBODY ADOPT ME PLEASE!"†
From age five to sixteen I moved between family, foster care, group homes, Institutions, ranches and Juvenile Hall. I was place in over 30 homes around the bay area. I never stayed in one place more then a year. I often wished, one of those foster families would have adopted me.
I ended up going to one public school in my life and that was Lafayette Elementary School in Oakland, CA that was my last public school. The rest of my education came as a ward of the state. I ran away from my last foster home in Richmond, CA at age 15 to live w/ my stepmother, being on the run for a year my social worker talk with me and decided to drop me from her caseload. CPS would not emancipate me or help me in anyway. I was told your going to be on your own from now on! Then at the age of sixteen I began to live on my own. I got an apartment and remained reasonable to this day.
†"WHATTT I MUST BE BORN AGAIN?"†
Age twenty I had my daughter, abandoned again, and left alone to raise my child on my own. From age eighteen to twenty-three I was caught up into homosexuality. For five years that was my way of life I didn't hide it everyone new. ( NOT MAGNIFYING THE DEVIL CAUSE HE GETS NO GLORY.) It all started from a curious thought wondering why the women on Jerry Springer wanted to be with the same sex, before I new it I was acting on my curiosity. I went from being curios, bisexual, to being a lesbian. I partied all the time at the Gay clubs from San Francisco to LA and attended the gay parades. I've experiences lust at it's worst form I’ve dated different women from femz, studs, and butches. I lived with a woman who gave me everything I could have ever wished for but I still wasn't happy. It wasn't that I was hard to please I just had an emptiness inside of me that she couldn't fill only God could do that for me. See I was molested by a man ( Whom I forgiven) and I was rejected by my child father so I was looking for love in all the wrong places. Not knowing everything I was searching for to complete me was in Jesus. On Friday, September 14, 2001 around 7:00 pm, I was at home getting dress to go out to a nightclub, and I heard a still small voice say go to church. I thought that was very odd cause I wasn't a church gore but a lady once told me the day you hear his voice harden not your heart. And what she said came back to my memory. All of a sudden I got sacred cause I’d realized the true and living God had spoken to me. I was a nobody, “I couldn’t believe it” so I wanted to see what was up . “A friend of mine called me on the phone” to see if I was going out to the nightclub with her I told her no! I was going to church. She laughed and practically begged me to go out with her. I denied her request and followed the voice that spoke to me. So about 7:45 pm, I made my way to a nearby church that I had driven by often Acts Full Gospel. When I walked in I sat way in the back. I could've sworn the lady that was preaching (Sister Doris) had been following me around. Cause she was preaching about everything I had been threw and what I was currently going through. I wanted to walk out but I couldn't I just broke down crying. Afterwards she called everyone to the alter and I went. I was tired of the lifestyle I was living deep down inside I wasn't happy. I guess God knew that I wanted to change but I didn't know how. And on that very night I accepted Jesus into my heart as my lord and personal savior. I asked Jesus to remove everyone out of my life that was no good for me. And to set me free from lesbianism and to fill me with his Holy Spirit. I was then instantly set free from that spirit. And also from the needy spirit of lounging to be loved and accepted by someone. Since then I haven't had a mind to return back to the filth the Lord brought me out of. I got my natural affections back for a man and waiting on my Adam. I've been saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy spirit going on seven years.When Jesus set's you free you’re free indeed. It's a blessing to be able to tell you that my daughter was 3 years old when I got saved she doesn't have one memory of my past all she knows is that her mother is a woman of God. Mannnn God is soooo good! The curse has been broken off our lives. Now I realize all the things I've been through was so Jesus can use me to draw people to him. God ended up using me to draw my friend to him you know my friend that called and laughed at me for going to church?? Well two days later she came to church with me and gave her life to to the Lord. God let me know in my life he will do great and mighty things. Many will be saved set free and delivered threw my testimony. So I can stand today and say it was good for me that I had been afflicted, for if I had not been afflicted I would have not known the power of God. That's why I shout, dance, and sing in the presences of God and spread the gospel everywhere I go. It's because after all I been through I still have my joy. I've been born again and adopted as a child of God!
† "No PAIN, NO GAIN"† g
God used me to draw my father and sister to him. In 2003 my dad gave his life to Christ, and now attends church w/ me every Sunday. I forgave him I love him very much. He told me alot of the information pertaining to the earlier parts of my life. My sister gave her life to the lord In 2005 and she ushers at the church too. My brother and stepmother are well and fine. I’m praying for the day God draws them in. MY stepmother ended up having another child (not by my father) and I love my little sister dearly. As for my biological mother I searched for her in 2004 to tell her I love her only to be told she passed away in 2000. But I found my mother’s family in June-04 through the Internet using US SEARCH. Soon after I was reunited with them. I was told I had family members that attended Acts Full Gospel Church some of them I ran into on a continual bases and didn’t know they were my family members. The following month in August-04 there was a family reunion taking place and it ends up they hadn’t had a family reunion in over 15 years. In the family reunion book I was listed as one of the kids my mother had had. It felt good to know they hadn’t forgot about me after all those years. UPDATED: In 2009 I became a licensed foster parent. Now I'm giving back all the love I never received as a child to a child in need, I praise God for that.

Now I'm about my fathers business, I'm on a mission to tell the world, that Jesus is still in the saving business. And he is the answer to all your fears. I live what I preach, my life is an open book, and however, I’m not perfect. I have made mistakes alone the way, but God said a good man falls seven times but he gets back up again. Now I no longer fall but I stand in humility. What Christ has done for me he can and will do the same for you? Everything you need is in him. He’s better then any lover, sex, money or drugs. Try him for yourself he's good. We’ve all had our share of problems, but we are still here in the land of the living by the grace of God. I pray that you come to understand; everything you’ve been through was for a reason. Many people been threw abuse, abandonment, molestation and have been neglected. ("Trust me I know all too well.") Each one of us has history to tell.“ His-Story “ And if you share your story you could possibly bring some young one through. See God is all knowing and everything happens for a reason. So whatever your going through or been through DON'T GIVE UP, trust God, he loves you, he will not leave you nor fail you. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.")

John 3:16 says for God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God really loves you! Yes, YOU! The person that is living in defeat! Don't let the devil steal your joy any longer! Ask Jesus into your heart and watch how He can radically change your life!

I love you.
I come to you today with all my problems, for I am weary with trying to fix them on my own. I ask you for a second chance... and I believe that you can give me one. I am sick and tired of the mask I am wearing and I just want to be real again!! So Jesus, I surrender everything to you! I don't want to "worship" what the world claims is "happiness" anymore. I want TRUE happiness, I want you!!!
I ask that you forgive me for my shortcomings and all my sin. I want to have eternal life with you! I believe that you died for my sins and rose to life on the third day. I believe that you are the living Son of God. Come into my empty heart to live and send your Holy Spirit. Fill me with your peace, passion, and love. Change me from the inside out so I may finally walk in the perfect destiny that you have for me. Show me how to live my new life... open my eyes to your truth and crush the lies that the devil has put in my mind! I put my trust in you, oh Lord. Thank you Jesus! Amen!

One night a woman had a dream. She dreamed she was
walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the
sky flashed scenes from her life. For each scene, she
noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one
belonging to her, and the other to the Lord. When
the last scene of her life flashed before her, she
looked back at the footprints in the sand. She
noticed that many times along the path of her life
there was only one set of footprints. She also noticed
that it happened at the very lowest and saddest
times in her life. This really bothered her and she
questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, You said that
once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all
the way. But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life, there is only one set
of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed
you most you would leave me." The Lord replied,
"My daughter, My precious child, I love you and I would
never leave you. During your times of trial and
suffering, when you see only one set of footprints,it
was then that I Carried You."
Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, "Look at this woman kneeling here. When I entered your home, you didn't offer me water to wash the dust from my feet, but she has washed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair.You didn't give me a kiss of greeting, but she has kissed my feet again and again from the time I first came in.You neglected the courtesy of olive oil to anoint my head, but she has anointed my feet with rare perfume.I tell you, her sins – and they are many – have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love."Then Jesus said to the woman, "Your sins are forgiven."
